Great folk elements like subtle fingerpicking and local area inspired lyrics on songs like "What We Have", "Owasippe's Sons" and "The Land of the Inland Seas". He steps outside the norm with the bluesy riff-driven "Chase" and the satisfying rock throw-down "Once Upon a Time" - all without losing touch with the folk roots and sensibility that his fans enjoy

This CD is a long way from his last - which btw I thought was great! "November Winds" is incredible!

A nice mix of his old music and a new sound. Some very moving songs, and some great toe tappers. A very good buy!
